As crazy as it may sound, I truly enjoy capturing each and every portrait session and wedding that I am asked to do these days.
This is primarily due to the fact that I get to work with the absolute BEST clients on the regular, with a little side of understanding how to make any lighting condition work to produce images I love. All that being said though, every once in awhile a session comes along that just becomes an instant favorite, and Mikayla and Tyler's engagement is most definitely up there with my favorites!
These two brought all the fire with them to their session. I kid you not, I swear I saw steam coming up from them (in a good way!) Their personalities and love for one another made this engagement session such an incredible one to experience. They were so comfortable and at ease in each other's arms, and they had no problem showing affection for one another! You could just see the pure happiness that they felt with one another all across their face and in their body language, it was a total photographer's dream to capture two people so in love and at ease with one another!
These two were looking for a Fall vibe for their engagement session, and while many of the trees on my family farm had already shed their leaves when we photographed their engagement session, there was the most perfect show of leaves tucked along the edge of the woods. Let me tell you, I was blown away by how stunning this small pocket of trees photographed with these two. We got allllll the Fall vibes for them, it seriously couldn't have been more perfect! It was like the leaves held on just for the two of them to make their engagement session have even more pop to it!
As if this amazing couple, with the gorgeous leaves wasn't enough to make their session perfect, there was also an incredible golden hour glow with the dreamiest lighting! If you want to know what makes fireworks go off in a photographer's head, it's this trifecta of perfection in a portrait session! I just loved that these two could go from being sweet and intimate to hot and steamy with total ease, it spoke volumes to the strength of their relationship, and their fun, and carefree personalities. They struck me as some of the most genuine, and wonderful couples you could ever hope to meet! Also, I am noticing that I get a lot of couple's with "Tyler's", perhaps it's a sign that if there's a Tyler in the couple they will be some of the most fun and joyful couples around, at least in my opinion.
Mikayla and Tyler, it was such an honor capturing your engagement session! It will certainly remain one of my favorites for a long time, and I hope to see you both again soon!
