Watching two people whose personalities just mesh perfectly laugh and spend time together will always be one of my most favorite things to see.
It's one of those unique perks to being a photographer that I just love, being able to peek into the lives and relationships that my clients share together. The bits and pieces that I was able to see when photographing Kortnee and Josh were truly special indeed.
Kortnee and Josh have got to be one of the sweetest, most fun loving couples I have had the chance to meet. Somehow, by the grace of God, I keep being blessed with the absolute best couples out there, and these two are no exception to that! Kortnee and Josh were full of laughter and smiles from the very beginning, all the way to the very end. They tried to tell me that they were awkward in front of the camera, but I didn't witness a single moment of awkward from them.
Kortnee and Josh's chose to share their sunset engagement session on my family farm, and boy did the evening deliver! These two got to enjoy the dreamiest golden hour glow, and we even managed to capture some pretty sunset photos while playing down in the creek at the end. To say that the whole landscape seemed to light up to match the beauty of the love these two shared would probably be an understatement.
Kortnee and Josh are definitely my kind of people, not only because of their easy going personalities, but also their love of dogs! We got chatting all about our dogs, sharing stories about how much we love our fur children and the silly things they do. We all agreed that life is just better when there is an excited face and a wagging tail waiting for you at home. I hope I get to meet their sweet pooches someday, because if they are anything like Kortnee and Josh, I am sure to adore them too!
In spending time wandering around the farm with Kortnee and Josh, I could certainly see why these two work so well together. Josh was constantly making Kortnee laugh, and laughter is a must in a relationship if you ask me! You could just see by the way they looked at one another and wrapped their arms around each other, that they were just so perfectly in tune to one another and fit like a glove. Some people just mesh really well together, and Kortnee and Josh really do!
Kortnee and Josh, I had the best time meeting the two of you and getting to know you better. I am so excited for your wedding, and I can't wait to see all the joy that life brings the two of you!
