Easily one of my favorite things about what I do is when people choose to come back to me again and entrust me with capturing some of the best memories in their lives.
So when Haley's mom reached out to me about capturing senior portraits of her in a different season than what we already had, I was ecstatic to see her smiling face again!
I had the joy of first meeting Haley in the Summer during the sunflower season. She had the most vibrant and wonderful smile you could ever see and glowed in the Summer sun more brightly than the sunflowers themselves. While the scenery for her Fall session was quite different, her sweet million dollar smile was unchanged! I did however, find myself thinking over and over how much more mature she looked by a simple change in her hair. It's amazing how one small detail can make such a big effect on a person's appearance!
Haley wanted to have her photos with the beautiful colors of Fall, and I honestly don't think we could have timed it better if we had had a crystal ball to show us exactly when they would peak! The mountain across from my family farm was showing the most stunning display of color to match her fun and joyful personality! She didn't even protest or bat an eye when I asked her to skip up the hill to me, she just flashed her gorgeous smile and went to it! Haley truly made my job easy with her natural beauty and fun personality!
One of the other features about Haley that stood out to me was how calm, collected, and mature she was. For only being a Senior in high school, she was full of kindness and gentleness far beyond her years. She is exactly the kind of person that this world needs more of! I get the feeling that she is an amazing friend to those who know her, and is a blessing to everyone she meets. We could certainly use more young women like Haley to brighten up the world around them!
Haley, I had a wonderful time capturing your beautiful smile and getting to know you better this Fall. You are an amazing young woman and I am sure that as you head out into the world you will do incredible things!
