If there is one thing in this world that remains true, it's that as long as we are living, it's never too late to write a new chapter for ourselves.
This couldn't be more true than when it comes to finding love, for love knows no age limit. This is the reality that both Esther and Laverne know personally.
Esther and Laverne may not be the usual young couple that I work with, but that doesn't mean that their story is any less filled with love. I was able to witness first hand the love that these two share and it was so beautiful and pure. These two laughed and smiled at one another just like they were teens again! The joy they shared with one another lit up their faces and seemed to just make the years fade away. It truly was a wonderful sight to see!
Esther and Laverne met through their church. Both attended a grief support group there after the loss of their spouses whom they had each been married to for many years. It was through sharing their grief that they once again found love, which shows incredible strength and resilience in both of them. Laverne shared that soon after meeting Esther, he knew he needed to ask this fine lady out to dinner, and so after only a few weeks of he did! I think it's safe to say that it was an instance of just knowing inside that this was his person!
We captured their engagement photos at Laverne's beautiful property and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! The sun gave the most soft and beautiful Summer glow among the colorful flowers. The setting couldn't have been more perfect for the two of them to showcase their love for one another!
