Cally + Billy ~ Wedding

There's something special about the first look between a bride and groom on their wedding day.

It's a moment that shows all the raw emotion that two people feel for one another. A moment that often times brings calm, collected men to tears.

When I met Cally and Billy last year for their engagement session, I just knew they would be one of the happiest couples on their wedding day, and they certainly were! While Billy was calm and a great jokester for most of their special day, his reaction to seeing his beautiful bride for the first time was absolutely priceless. He was unable to contain his tears of joy and the overwhelming emotions when he finally was able to gaze upon Cally all in white. Cally was overjoyed at seeing her groom, and was full of smiles and her own happy tears at seeing his precious reaction. Watching the two of them as they enjoyed one another's presence and embraced in a loving hug was one of the most touching and emotional parts of their beautiful day in my opinion. Cally & Billy were very much in their own world for a few precious moments, just the two of them, holding each other tight.

Cally and Billy's picturesque outdoor wedding took place at the Cellars at Brookpark Farm, and what a perfect Summer day it was! There was a nice breeze to keep the Summer heat from being too much, and not a drop of rain in sight. They said their I Do's under the shade of a great big tree, surrounded by their family and friends. I don't think Cally and Billy ever stopped smiling all day, but why would they! When two people love each other as much as Cally and Billy do, it could have been pouring rain and it still would have been the happiest day of their lives together thus far because it was the day they got to marry their best friend.

Cally made an absolutely stunning bride in her lovely Morilee by Madeline Gardner wedding gown. There were so many beautiful details to her dress, and it seemed like her dress was designed just for her with how well it suited her personality. With her hair and makeup done to perfection by Plush Salon Co., Cally truly was the belle of the ball so to speak. I think though, it was her gentle and joyful smile that never left her face all day that made her the most beautiful of all though! She was just the happiest bride you could ever meet!!!

Billy made a pretty dashing groom himself! While he didn't have quite as many fancy details as his lovely bride, I was a fan of his customized cuff links. I always love it when couples find ways to personalize even the smallest of details to make them a little more special and a nice memento to cherish for years to come. With the exception of a few emotional moments during both the first look, and watching his bride walk down the aisle towards him, Billy had as many smiles for their day as Cally did. He was a very easy going groom and just so happy to marry his wife and spend the day with their loved ones. Cally and Billy really are two peas in a pod with their fun and joyful personalities, I would say they were made for each other!

Cally & Billy, it has been such a huge honor getting to know the two of you and capturing your wedding day for you. The two of you were a joy to work with, and I look forward to watching your love continue to grow in the years to come. Congratulations you two!!!
