I'm not sure if you heard or not, but I really love to take photos.
I'm not just saying a photo here and there, but I genuinely love taking LOTS of photos. They are such a great way to go back to a moment in time that could otherwise be forgotten. Even moments that when you're in them, you think "I'm going to remember this forever" you would be surprised how the passage of time allows things to fade away. Life is beautiful, and there is so much I don't ever want to forget, and that has been one of the things that has drawn me to be a photographer. I love capturing those beautiful moments not only for myself, but also for the clients I am blessed to work with.
There's something else that I love almost as much as I love taking photos.
Any guess as to what that might be? I'll tell you, because I'm not good at keeping secrets. I love getting to photograph the same people, over and over, year after year. It seriously brings me so much joy to see my clients again and again, to watch how their lives are progressing and all the changes that time brings. Not just because I enjoy catching up and chatting with them, but also because it means that they appreciate my work and trust me to capture these wonderful moments for them again. That trust means the world to me, and Paityn has had so much trust in me these past several years, I can't help but adore this young lady!!
When Paityn asked me if I would take photos of her for her 21st birthday, I couldn't say "yes!" fast enough! While I can hardly believe it, somehow the years have flown by and the lovely young lady that was once one of my SoRose Senior Spokesmodels, is now twenty-one. The time certainly has flown by!! She wanted to have the session on her family's stunning property, and it was the perfect spot for capturing her in in her element. Paityn has always been a natural in front of the camera, and she never ceases to slay her sessions.
It was a pretty chilly Winter day when we met up for her session, but you would never know it to look at her. Paityn was dressed to impress, and her smile made the day seem warmer than it really was. As always, she never questioned any of my requests, from trapsing through the woods in briars to a spot that caught my eye, or posing with her muddied up truck, she trusted me throughout the entire process. I think her trust paid off if I might say so myself. Another pretty cool thing I want to mention about Paityn, she has always had a cool truck that I just HAVE to include in her sessions. Her trucks are every bit as photo worthy as she is, so the combination makes for a really great gallery!
