Dalton~Class of 2026

Senior, Milestone

Senior year is always a momentous occasion for not only the students themselves, but also their families.

There are so many milestones, final school year moments to embrace and remember, goals to reach, and memories to be cherished. It is always an honor when I am asked to capture senior portraits during this very special season of life, and Dalton's senior portraits were no exception!

One of the first traits I noticed throughout Dalton's senior portrait session, was his dedication and commitment to the sports he engaged in. I could tell that Dalton truly wanted to excel and enjoyed both wrestling and football, and he was more than willing to put in the hard work and effort to accomplish that. Learning to be disciplined and strive for success at such a young age is something that will prove beneficial in the years to come. His hard work also proved to pay off, as he had an amazing season in both wrestling and football for his senior year! Dalton finished out his football career with several records including: single season receiving touchdowns (14 touchdowns), career receiving touchdowns (28 touchdowns), career receiving yards (1999 yards), and 1x Allstate. In addition to his impressive football career, his high school wrestling career was every bit as impressive! In wrestling he was 4x sectional place winner/ champion, 4x district 4 place winner/champion, 4x NE regional place winner/champion, 3x state qualifier, finished 8th place at states, with a total win to loss of 143-49!

There is no doubt in my mind that at least some of Dalton's great personality and work ethic come from his parents. The pride and love that his parents have for him was so easy to see during his portrait session. Senior year is often a bittersweet time for parents, and I'm sure they are feeling a range of emotions throughout the year. Knowing Dalton's parents beyond his senior portraits, I have been able to witness the support and encouragement they bring him, and those things are so meaningful. We of course had to snap a few photos of the three of them, because all too soon, these will be memories.

Dalton is not just a great sport in the sports he is in, but he was also a great sport about his senior photos. He had a great attitude and smile the entire time. Whether I was asking him to do a bunch of pull ups, or throw the football while watching me, and try to avoid being hit in the head in the process, he did everything that I asked without complaint. He even had some fun ideas that he brought along to help make his senior portraits even more personal and unique. Between his strong work ethic, and positive attitude, Dalton is sure to do great things in the future!

Dalton, it was a joy being able to capture your senior portraits for you. You are already a great young man, and I look forward to seeing where the future takes you, I'm sure it's going to be spectacular!
