Ethan~Class of 2026

Milestone, Senior

Do you want to know what the craziest thing about being a photographer is?

For me, it's when I am photographing seniors that I remember very distinctly as small children. Somehow, I seem to have gotten old enough for this to be an increasingly common occurrence, although I'm not sure how that is possible. Ethan is one of those "kids" that I look back and question how this young man grew from the small child I can picture in my head.

I have been blessed to go to the same church as Ethan's family for quite literally my entire life. When his momma asked me to do his senior photos, I remember thinking it couldn't be possible that her little boy was a senior. She assured me that he truly was a senior, and we proceeded to have an absolute blast for his senior photos. He had such a great attitude the whole time, and he truly made my job easy!

Ethan is a very talented and motivated young man. As a senior, he was active in the football team and wrestling team, giving it his all and bringing a positive attitude with him while doing whatever task he set to. In addition to being active in football and wrestling, Ethan was also a very hard worker outside of school activities. When you grow up on a family farm, there really isn't much choice but to work hard to get things done.

I can't say I was very surprised that we took some photos to show off the farm where Ethan worked hard at. They had a crazy tall corn harvest last Fall, so we took some photos with Ethan to really showcase the incredible crop. We made sure to show off Ethan's true pride and joy, his beautiful car! I am always thrilled when we can include a senior's ride in their photos, and his smile couldn't be bigger. It could have been because his younger sisters were in charge of washing and prepping his car for the photo shoot. It's always a lot more fun to put your siblings to work! The second best part of the session was when the sky decided to show off at the end of the day and was painted all the pretty colors of sunset.

Ethan, congratulations on your graduation! I know you are going to do great things in the years to come, and am so blessed to know you and your family.
