Fall with the Moran's

Family Portraits

Family has always been and will always be the greatest treasure a person can have here on earth. Whether it's immediate family, or extended family, they are all precious and special. These amazing folks right here, are some more of my family!

I get so excited when my own family asks me to capture their memories for them. I feel so honored to know that they trust my skills and passion for my work to add art to the walls of their home. It is really just so special and exhilarating all at the same time. Something else happens when I get to photograph my family, we get to have fun together! We of course had to take these on my family's beautiful farm, and all the Fall colors were out in their full glory to make an absolutely stunning backdrop for us. Even if we didn't have much sun to work with and couldn't enjoy that dreamy golden backlighting I love so much, the Fall leaves made up for it.

These four are one of the sweetest, kindest, and good looking families I know. I mean seriously, how photogenic are these four!! They are always a blast to hang out with and they bring all their energy and liveliness with them! These four are they type of people you want to be around, they brighten the lives of everyone around them. I seriously have some of the best family members!! Even though their sweet little girl was having a bit of a "threenager" type of day, they handled her strong will so calmly and we managed to pull off some lovely family photos. Of course, we did have a bit of extra help!

These two kiddos have a super loving and patient Nonna, and she was more than happy to tag along and help encourage the kiddos to smile. When you have a threenager in the family, it's never a bad idea to bring along reinforcements to your portrait session ;-) Of course, all of Nonna's hard work had to be rewarded with a few photos with her sweet grandbabies, and they were all about that!!! I know from watching my own parents with my nieces that grandchildren are extra special treasures in the hearts of their grandparents. I think it may have something to do with having the ability to sugar them up and send them home to their parents hah!

Being able to spend time with and photograph these four just makes me so excited for when I have my own family to add to our tree. I know that my kiddos will have the best family ever, because they are my family and they are amazing! I am thankful that I have remained close to so many of my cousins and their families over the years, because we share so many amazing memories and I love that we can still share new ones too. Family really is everything to me!!!

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to photograph all of you Morans! I can't wait to see your new family photo hanging on the wall to cherish this moment in time. I can't wait to make new memories with each of you and watch the kiddos grow up!
