Ezra's Half Birthday!

Child Portraits, Family Portraits, Milestone

It's crazy to me how in the blink of an eye, time just flies right on by. This is especially true when it comes to watching little ones grow up.

I swear it was just yesterday that I met little Ezra for the first time, as a teeny little newborn, and now here he is, a six month old babe already!

I couldn't even believe it was time for Ezra's half birthday shoot already when his momma reached out to me. But somehow, five months had already gone by and it was indeed time for his milestone shoot. While he was still a pretty little guy, he certainly had grown quite a bit since our first meeting! And he might possibly be the happiest little cutie pie at six months old too!

I just loved the assortment of outfits that Ezra's momma had brought along for his special milestone. Of course showing him off with his Winnie the Pooh themed blanket that his aunt had made him was a must for comparison from his newborn photos. He made the most adorable little Pooh Bear in the costume his momma got him! We also incorporated some fun elements that were important to his parents, from boxing to sports, he really had quite the wardrobe and props to play with! I also love how much Ezra's momma and dad incorporate the tiny details too. Ezra's momma had a beautiful ring with his birthstone in it that was such a timeless piece to photograph him with, I am always a sucker for those tiny details!

One of my favorite things about half birthday photo shoots is how expressive babies are getting at this age. Ezra had all sorts of cute and funny faces for us throughout his session! I couldn't help but laugh at some of the looks he gave us! He was such a happy little guy throughout the whole process, it's no wonder his parents swoon over him so much!

Ezra, I am so thankful to be able to watch you grow up and come into your own personality. I know that your smiles fill the hearts of your family with joy, and you are already blessing the lives of everyone you meet. I can't wait to see you again!
