Loving families and cute puppies, two of my most favorite things to photograph anytime of year, but especially at Christmas. There is always so much fun and laughter when you have both children and puppies together, the combined excitement and joy fills every room and makes it shine a little brighter. All of this was so true for the Yohn family when they came by the studio for a visit this Christmas.
I had the joy of meeting this sweet family a year ago at Christmas, and it’s always fun for me to see people again! I love seeing how much the kiddos have grown since their last visit, and my goodness did these two little ladies grow up since the year before! They were full of beautiful and bright smiles for their Christmas photos and they were more than happy to have fun while taking their photos. They took turns wrapping each other up in the Christmas lights, and they gladly wrapped each other in big sisterly hugs. These two were definitely making sure they stayed off the naughty list for Christmas! Although I have no doubt that they were happy for their brief break while their parents took the center of attention for some updated photos together. And everyone loved when it was time for the puppies to get their spotlight!
When they mentioned bringing puppies along, I was definitely not expecting to be greeted by two gigantic Great Dane puppies! They were some of the cutest and friendliest pups I have ever laid eyes on! They were more than happy to investigate the studio and myself when they weren’t in the photos. With faces like theirs, they were impossible not to gush over! We tried to wrap them up in Christmas lights, but they were way too big and full of energy to sit long enough for something like that. We all had a good laugh trying though!
Yohn family, thank you for once again trusting me to capture this special time in your lives together. Your smiles light up the room and I love seeing your family change and blossom as the years go by! I can’t wait to see you all again!
