The sweetest little boy staring up at his momma and daddy as they express their love for one another. Watching in awe as his father gazes in pure love and affection at his beautiful blushing bride, and as she looks upon her husband to be with a joyful heart. A most tender and special moment in their lives as they start this next chapter as a family, made all the more lovely by the quiet intimacy of it all.
When Jordan and Brittany asked me to capture their beautiful backyard micro wedding, I couldn't have been more excited! I was so happy that even though their plans may have changed due to COVID, they were still going to share their special day and be joined in marriage. Their ceremony was so incredibly beautiful and romantic from beginning to end. They not only had their closest relatives to join them in their union in person, but they also had those who were able to watching the ceremony through ZOOM.
I always love watching both the bride and the groom when the bride is walking down the aisle towards her husband, and Brittany and Jordan's wedding was a great one for this. Brittany looked absolutely stunning in her dress and her smile lit up her whole face as she walked towards her groom. Meanwhile, I got to watch as Jordan fought back tears of joy, overwhelmed with love for his beautiful bride. It was the most amazing and perfect first look, the kind of reaction that every bride hopes for when her man finally gets to see her. Surprisingly enough though, that wasn't even my favorite part of their ceremony!
The best thing that I was able to witness happen during their ceremony, was when their sweet son got up from his seat and stood right in the middle of the aisle, right in front of his parents to watch them say their vows. This was the most precious and wonderful moment of the whole day in my opinion. I loved seeing how mesmerized he was watching his mom and dad say their vows and promise themselves to one another. This moment is something that I have no doubt he will remember his whole life, seeing his mom and dad commit their lives to one another and setting such a wonderful example for him to follow as he gets older. Marriage is such a sacred thing, and I loved being able to see their little guy take in the importance of it at such a young age as he witnessed the love between his parents and will no doubt witness that love grow and grow for many years to come.
Jordan and Brittany's guest list may have been small, but it was not lacking in love one bit! Everyone that was there was so full of genuine smiles and laughter for the young couple, and so were Jordan and Brittany! After the wedding, we all went to the nearby Pinchot State Park for some beautiful wedding photos. The setting was so serene and lovely, just like Jordan and Brittany. These two made my job easy, they were always smiling with. the most bright and cheerful smiles. Their easy going and happy personalities go so well together, they really do compliment each other beautifully. Together they are raising the most handsome little guy, and building a life that they love, which is what I hope for all my couples.
Brittany and Jordan, I am so very honored that I was able to share your special day with you. Your family is so special to me and I can't wait to see your marriage blossom and thrive as time goes on. Your day was every bit as amazing and lovely as the two of you, and I am so glad that I could capture it all for you. I wish you all the happiness and love together!!!
