I'll start by saying that, I do truly adore and value each and every single one of my clients.
I seriously get to work with the very best people, and because of that, I typically try to avoid having favorites. This couple right here though, is one of the few exceptions to the favorites rule, because that young man right there, is my adopted son. Did I officially adopt him? No. Did I actually contribute toward raising him?Also technically no, but I did help with some of his projects in high school. In spite of these things, it is fully accepted that I am his adopted mom by his actual mom, Michael, and myself, so therefore, it is true and I am allowed to have this couple as a favorite.
When my "adopted son" Michael came to me to ask if I would capture his lovely bride to be and him for their engagement photos, I couldn't say yes fast enough! Emma is just the sweetest young lady, and she and Michael truly do make the cutest couple. The smiles and laughter these two shared together during our time together just radiated with so much warmth, in spite of the chilly Winter day we were taking their photos in. The barren landscape of my family farm was lit up by the love and laughter that these two brought with them.
Michael and Emma's joy with one another and happiness showed through so beautifully, they truly made my job an easy one. They giggled along with all of my silly prompts and shared quiet jokes between the two of them that kept the most natural smiles on their faces. It was easy to see how much they loved one another, they shared so much comfort and ease in each other's arms, it was nothing short of perfection.
