Even on a wet and gloomy day, the love shared between two people can make the day seem bright as the sunshine.
The day I met with Chelsea and Paul for their engagement photos was certainly a dreary one, with a constant mist in the air. When Chelsea and Paul smiled at one another though, they brought light to the whole day.
Chelsea and Paul are just one of the sweetest couples you could ever meet. They were so joyful and at ease in one another's presence, just as two people engaged to be married should be. Their happiness together made my "job" easy. The two of them shared plenty of laughs together during our time together, and every time they laughed they lit up everything around them. They were so wonderful to photograph, they shared the most beautiful chemistry together. I just loved every minute of their session!
One of the extra special details that stuck in my mind was Paul's response when I asked how he proposed to Chelsea. Paul had to change his proposal plan multiple times last year due to COVID! In the end, it may not have been the proposal Paul initially had dreamt up, but it was a dream come true nonetheless when Chelsea said "yes"!
Chelsea's vision for their engagement photos was in a grassy field, and I believe we found the perfect one! I always love being able to adventure around new locations (always with the land owner's permission of course!) to photograph, especially when I find one as pretty as this! It was such a wonderful spot for these two love birds to celebrate this special season in their lives.
