An Easter Mini Comedy thanks to COVID-19

Just for Fun

Today was supposed to be the first of my Easter Mini Sessions. There was going to be smiles and laughter with some of the best clients around, a fuzzy little lamb, adorable chicks, and a cuddly bunny. But COVID-19 had other plans for today.

So instead, there are no clients, no cute little baby lamb, or chicks, and no bunny. It does make me sad to not see my amazing clients, however, their health is so much more important to me than anything else right now. Even in all that's happening in the world right now, this is me we're talking about, so even though there is disappointment and uncertainty, I am not about to let that keep me down! I still have 3 horses, 4 dogs, the best fiance around, and a great sense of optimism and humor with smiles and laughter to share in abundance!

I have been known to be pretty creative with what I have available to me, and that's how this all came into being. It started as a desire to share something related to Easter and the mini sessions that were supposed to take place, and evolved into a way to brighten everyone's day and maybe get a chuckle or two out of them!

The hardest parts about this little plan of mine: #1 getting my currently shedding and itchy horses who love rolling in the mud every chance they get to look semi presentable. #2 convincing my dear fiance to let me dress him up like a bunny and take photos of him. I really don't understand why the second part of this was so hard (LOL!!!) but with some pleading, persuasion that everyone would love it, it would be tons of fun, and he would win some major brownie points from me, the love of his life, I managed to get him on board!

While this is definitely not the photos I had originally planned to be sharing today, I do have to say that I think they were a pretty great alternative!

Say hello to Easter Bunny Brandon! (Sorry ladies, he's all mine!)

The horses were a huge fan of the fresh carrots that Easter Bunny Brandon brought them.

And our dogs enjoyed the egg hunt that Easter Bunny Brandon put together for them!

Did I mention I put my rat terriers in a chick outfit?! I mean, how adorable are they!???

Cocoa and I may have had differing opinions on where the bunny ear headband should go...

And Jax of course was his usual happy self...

And everyone got their picture taken with Easter Bunny Brandon too!

All in all, I think everyone had a fun day. Sometimes, plans just don't work out. And when that happens we can either dwell on it and have a pity party allowing it to ruin our day, or we can adapt, make the best of what we've got, and find a new way to have fun. I hope you got to enjoy this as much as I did, and by that I mean I hope you had a few good belly laughs out of all this!!! :-) And if you haven't followed me on Facebook yet, hop on over and give my page a LIKE! I have been making it my mission to share beautiful, fun, and happy photos everyday during this time when everything is shut down and there is so much fear and uncertainty. So if you need a little pick me up, or something joyful to lighten up your feed, I have you covered. Stay healthy, wash your hands, and hope to see y'all real soon!!!
